Log Line: WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE
Synopsis: After the tragic death of her son in New Zealand, Londoner Grace Shaw
is totally unprepared to learn how little she knew about him, and for the
clash of cultures soon to follow.
With the revelation that Robert married a Maori girl and had a baby boy who
is alive, Grace uproots herself and travels to bring the child home to the UK.
Little does she realise quite how complicated things are about to become.
Arriving in a remote New Zealand town she finds Bobby in the care of a woman
known only as Nan.
Descended from an ancient Maori line, Nan invites Grace into her home.
But when Grace’s intentions to take Bobby from her are brought to light, a
destructive chain of events is triggered that will challenge everything Grace
understands about life, love and loss.
Nan is Bobby’s guardian. They are Maori. Bobby is going nowhere.
